Designing a Moto 360 Smartwatch

Motorola has announced its second generation Moto 360 smartwatch (starting at $299.99), which will come in three styles: two for men (42 and 46mm sizes) and a brand new women's collection (42mm). Also new to this version is an edge-to-edge screen with a slimmed down bezel; Motorola says the Moto 360 currently has the largest screen-to-case ratio of any smartwatch. Even bigger news is that this Android-powered smartwatch is now compatible with the iPhone.
You can now customize all of the design elements on your Moto 360. Once you choose between the three styles, you can then customize its colors, textures, and band material using the Moto Maker online tool. I gave it a try recently and ordered the men's watch (it's more my taste), and I look forward to testing it out. (Disclosure: Motorola will provide me with a Moto 360 for free; I will use it as a review unit.)
The Moto 360 is available for pre-order now via the Moto Maker, and will ship in late September.
